Hi Peter
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I have just done an extension to a stone barn and could not get rid of the stone inside the extension. Now I know how to do it. Really good.
Thanks a lot.
Mark
great! thank you!
This is really spot on ! I'm a new learner when it comes to REVIT.
I look forward to your next instalment on annotation and setting up layout sheets !

ineed for revit
here any way to accomplish this?
Thanks for the question, you can do something similar to the links you poasted. in a 3d view go to view properties(vp) and turn on the section box, this allows you to pull, push and rotate a 3d cutting box to give you cut isometrics which you can also dimension in, you could also right click on the navigation cube and select oriantate to view, select a 2d view in your model and it will crop your 3d to match. similarly if you create a 3d perspective view you can also turn on the section box, its a little more difficult to grab the grips as the plane you want to move is behind you, if you tile windows with a plan view and you perspective, then select the section box in perspective view, tab in to plan(the box is still selected) drag the grip passed the camera location, this give a 3d cut perspective. this gives great results and can also be rendered. Hope this helps
Cheers
